On the desolate side of a small planet, OMO the robot lives out its days in solitude. But in the wake of a major ship crash, OMO finds itself tasked with getting Danny, child survivor of the crash, to safety. Piece together a crew and a way off-planet from the wreckage in this 2D platformer in space!

On My Own was developed by Team OMO from UCLA's ACM Studio: Student Run Studios. The team consisted of about a dozen students, many of whom were novices in Unity and game development, and development time was just about 5 months.

Controls

  • Use W, A, S, D to move
    • Avoid hazards like lasers, electric wires, and spikes!
  • Space - jump
    • Ha...get it space?
  • Left click - set claw target
  • Right click - extend/retract claw
  • E - toggle grab/release while claw is touching an object
    •  Activate levers next to you!
  • A and D - rotate while grappling to a hook
  • Left click - enter portals
Known Bugs
  • Some keys are not collectible
